Goodbrand Plastics Plastic Injection Moulding facilities utilise a range of Boy and Biraghi, plastic injection moulding machines with sizes varying from 22 tonnes up to 150 tonnes, some of which are integrated with CNC robots.
In addition, each plastic injection moulding machine is equipped with its own hopper loader for material conveyance. A range of conveyors fitted to the relevant machines will collect the parts and transfer them to their allocated area or packaging medium.
As and when required, tool heaters will be used to produce a quality, aesthetically pleasing product.
With some plastics being hygroscopic, pre-drying of the raw materials prior to the processing is paramount. We have a range of dryers designed to remove the surplus moisture from the granules.
If this is not done, or done incorrectly, the surface finish of the product will be impaired but more importantly the strength of the product will be severely compromised.
Once mouldings have been manufactured from correctly dried material, they must be allowed enough time to re-absorb the moisture back. Until the moisture has been put back, the part will be extremely brittle and unsuitable for testing, assembly, turning etc. This is just one instance of having knowledge and experience when dealing with a variety of plastics and processing conditions.
Component design, injection moulding tool design and manufacture are achieved using our approved suppliers who we have forged a close working alliance with. Tooling may be manufactured in either the UK or the Far East dependant upon your preference.
We provide plastic injection moulding to a diverse range of industrial sectors including:
Medical Plastic Injection Moulding
Automotive Plastic Injection Moulding
Highways Plastic Injection Moulding
Construction Plastic Injection Moulding
In-store Security Plastic Injection Moulding
